I didn't take out insurance for our move and our moving company damaged out belongings, are we entilled to compensation?
In most cases the answer is yes and i would never recommend moving without insurance, ever! Now that the damange is done you will need review the terms of the contract with your moving company and call your insurance company. Both should give you some direction, but most of all clear answers.

My Mother in Law is looking at shifting, where should i start?
Firstly decide if packing is required, and then start contacting companies for quotes, since this is your mother in law, i suggest allowing plenty of time for her to make a decision. That also gives you plenty of time to find the right company, dont expect to find the right moving company the first time.
